Hawaii Pet Massage for a Happier and Healthier Pet
Massage is the manipulation of the skin and muscle for a therapeutic purpose. When done properly massage can greatly enhance your pet's life. Results can be seen as quickly is in one massage. Your pets will sleep more sound, eat better and take longer walks. Even animals who have been grounded on the first floor have been reported using the stairs. Every animal has a unique personality, disposition and health care need. Because of this, every animal needs to be treated differently. This requires a unique owner, that understands pets are family, and when they are in need they deserve the same treatment we would expect for ourselves. If you love your animal we understand. Dear friends,
We recently decided with heavy heart to pass the torch that is Hawaii Pet Massage to our friends at Warm and Fuzzy Kennels in Waimanalo. Brian and I had originally decided to start Hawaii Pet Massage as a compliment to his exisiting human massage practice "Island Massage Therapist". For those of you who saw us on OC16 or on myspace, you know that our inspiration came from a very special Rescue dog named Dusty. We wanted to help others like him with something we have seen first hand, produce remarkable results. However, we quickly realized that Hawaii Pet Massage needed much more time and attention then we were capable of giving. At first we thought about closing for a year and trying later. But there was noone else really offering the service and we felt it was much too important to put on a back burner.
After the first 5 minutes of talking with Lena and Shon of Warm and Fuzzy, I knew they were the perfect ones to take over. For those who don't know Warm and Fuzzy Kennels is currently being constructed on a stunning 2.5 acre property in Waimanalo. I toured the property yesterday, saw the plans, and hung out there for a few hours. This is going to be one of the best boarding facilities on the island hands down and even better than some I have seen in the mainland. It is peaceful, and open...a place you enjoy visiting.
Pet Massage is just one service they are going to be offering. Agility training and yards, pet cooking classes, live webcams, doggy excursians, Reiki and much more. I personally can't wait and will be one of their first customers.
So, thank you to all who supported us. I am sorry to those of you we had to turn away but I promise, when these guys are up and running, you will have a reliable and quality place to care for your pets.
